Nature of the Service

Lac qui Parle County Released Inmates is an independent reference site. It does not store official jail, inmate, release, or court records. It cannot verify custody, release anyone, post bond, or file a request or court document on a visitor’s behalf.

The pages point toward the Lac qui Parle County Sheriff’s Office, Minnesota Department of Corrections, courts, notification services, federal resources, and third-party research tools. A link or explanation does not turn this site into the government office or outside provider being described.

Acceptable Use Rules

You agree to use the site lawfully and without interfering with other visitors or its operation. In particular, you must not:

• Use the site or its information to violate any law.
• Stalk, harass, threaten, or harm another person.
• Rely on site content for employment, housing, lending, or insurance decisions.
• Try to enter restricted systems or accounts without authorization.
• Run automated bots, crawlers, or scrapers against the site.
• Disrupt, overload, damage, or impair access for others.

FCRA Uses Are Prohibited

This site is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. It does not offer background checks, credit reports, consumer reports, or screening services, and neither do its advertising partners through this site. You agree not to use information obtained here for:

• Hiring, firing, promotion, or another employment decision.
• Housing applications or tenant screening.
• Creditworthiness, lending, or insurance pricing.
• Licensing, permits, or government-program eligibility.
• Any other eligibility decision regulated by the FCRA.

Outside Links and Services

The site links to release records, sheriff and corrections pages, government portals, courts, legal resources, and outside search services. A link does not endorse an outside operator. We are not responsible for its content, privacy practices, data handling, prices, or uptime. Review that operator’s own terms before using it.

Service Provided As Is

The site and its content are supplied “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent allowed by law, we make no express or implied warranty that:

• Information is accurate, complete, or current.
• The site will remain available without interruption.
• The service is free from errors, bugs, or security weaknesses.
• An outside search provider will return complete results.

Custody status, release data, and government records can change quickly. Nothing published here is an official statement from the Lac qui Parle County Sheriff’s Office, Minnesota DOC, a court, or another agency.

Limits on Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the site, its owners, and its contributors are not liable for direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from access to, inability to use, or reliance on the site or an outside service.

These terms are governed by Minnesota law, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute must be brought in a court with proper jurisdiction in Minnesota.

If One Term Fails

If a court finds one provision invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be adjusted only as much as needed. All other provisions will remain in effect.
